Our Services

At Bolex LLC, we specialize in providing California Air Resources Board (CARB) certified OBD testing for commercial truck drivers who need to enter the state of California. Recent state regulations now require that all heavy-duty trucks operating in California undergo and pass a CARB-compliant On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) test. Without this certification, trucks may be denied entry, fined, or pulled out of service — leading to costly delays and lost revenue. To schedule, please go to our “Contact” section to get connected with someone who can help.

IMPORTANT

!!!

IMPORTANT !!!

If your truck has the “Check Engine” light ON, there is a possibility that the CARB OBD test may not process. In the case that you have your check engine light on and you would like to proceed with the test, if the test fails, we will charge you a $50 re-test fee.

If you recently had your truck serviced for your check engine light, please note that to pass the OBD test, you must drive a combination of city, highway, and load, for at least 200–400 miles, and complete the warm-up cycle (WUC) on the engine. Allow the engine to cool down and warm up again at least five (5) times. Then, all readiness indicators will close, and the test will be passed.
